Right just after the jailbreak of iOS 10.2, Apple releases iOS 10.2.1 and covers the exploits. Just right after 7-days of the new release, Apple stops signing iOS 10.2 firmware.
In our recent post, we already discussed that Luca Todesco introduced Yalu102 for iOS 10.2 jailbreak. This jailbreak supports 64-bit devices excluding iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. So, if you have upgraded your phone then you can’t now downgrade it to lower version. Because Apple is not signing that version from now.
Can you Downgrade to iOS 10.2 Still Now?
While for people who saved SHSH2 blobs, there is a good news. They can still downgrade their iOS devices with the help of Prometheus tools. However, if you have not saved the SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10.2 then you can’t now downgrade your device. Moreover, there is now no longer SHSH2 blobs available because Apple now does not signing the version.
