History of YouTube started in 2005 when it was founded by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim. It was sold to Google in 2006 for US $1.6 billion I stocks. YouTube became the fastest growing website in 2006. Google provided ads in the videos to start generate revenues which are shared by the content creators of the videos.
YouTube can be accessed from any web browser of your PC, your mobile devices, smart televisions, or any other gaming devices can also access YouTube. YouTube uses HTML 5 for video streaming. Therefore it is very easy to watch videos on any of the available device.
YouTube allows you to watch the videos and you can also share or embed the videos in any of your personal website or your personal blog. The sharing of a YouTube video requires the permission from the creator of the video.
You can view videos by going through the list of popular videos. It also allows you to search a particular video by its name. It then shows the list of related videos by that name. If you like any particular video then you can subscribe to that channel so that whenever they upload a new video you are notified.
You need to own a personal YouTube account to upload a video on YouTube. Once you create an account then you can upload any of your videos on YouTube. You can set privacy settings on the uploaded video so that people can or cannot watch your videos, you can add titles and descriptions to the videos.
