Dynamic Lock Windows 10 Lock
Dynamic lock is a feature in windows 10 which works with a paired Bluetooth device. We have to use a Bluetooth device in most cases the smartphones to pair it with the system to avail dynamic lock feature.
The system automatically locks itself when you walk away from its proximity along with the paired Bluetooth phone. When the system detects that the paired device is no longer in its range then it automatically locks the system within 30 seconds to avoid any invasion into the system and secures the system.
How to Enable Dynamic Lock in Windows 10
- Connect the smartphone with PC via Bluetooth.
- Open Setting app, Navigate to Devices and go to Bluetooth, choose your smartphone and click ‘Pair’.
- Now from the Setting app go to Accounts.
- Select Sign-In option and find Dynamic Lock.
- Check the option ‘Allow Windows to detect when you’re away and automatically lock the device’.
Once we enable the automatically lock the system option, the windows detects whenever the phone is not in range and automatically locks it within 30 seconds. We do not need to manually lock the PC whenever we are leaving the PC idle.
